Not a bad thing. Maybe the Orioles have cooled down a bit by then. Also, I was looking at going to Baltimore for the Labour Day game so maybe I'll get two in now!
Oh man, Berrios has been such a major let down this season. Like what a critically important piece go completely bad. Just leaves so many pitches middle middle.

Skipping a Berríos start would have likely meant another Kikuchi start. Berríos is supposed to be a number 2-3 guy so it’s a big problem if the Jays think they need to skip him.
Oh I agree. It’s a disaster of a season for Jose and it’s killing the Jays. Right now, we have 2.5 starters which is brutal. The problem with skipping Berríos starts is that you don’t have anyone after him that you are excited to see pitch more often.

The bats aren’t exactly setting the world on fire either. We haven’t looked great since the deadline and I wonder if the lack of a big move might have deflated the team morale a bit…especially when they see many of the teams around them get better.
