I just joined the team but I have not really played EASHL before. I just started playing it a couple of days ago on drop in games, it is pretty fun. My players attributes are brutal though, like 56 OVR. I still avg 1.6 ppg but some guys fly by me like a am standing still and it takes the whole width of the rink to make a turn at full speed...brutal.
How good are your players attributes? I want to play some games with you guys but if my player is that terrible I will keep playing drop in games until he is more acceptable.

That was me, I had to split after two games because someone wanted to play a GM connected game.

I never really got into EASHL prior to this year, but so far I'm really having a blast. I wish there was a way to archive game replays, so I could "study film" and see what I should have done better in certain situations.
I've already gone into the tutorial section of the game, and started practicing different things like faceoffs etc.

I'd like to get that 105 gamerscore achievement tonight.

Prob gonna be on at like 6ish mt time tonight. I'm between a 66-68 on all positions except goalie but I prefer RW. Gamer tag is HeavyJackTV. Currently a free agent if anyone is looking. 100+ points in 70 games and just got my Superstar1.
Such a fun game!

When are these games typically played? I am most evenings and weekends and see lots of people online but never playing games with this team. Then when I check back the next day it looks like the team played 5-6 games...

I've been playing Drop-In games for the last little while. It's ridiculous how many defencemen have the "Bobby Orr" syndrome.
Almost every single game I get into has a d-man that loves to go end-to-end. Of course, usually one of two things happen. Either they cause one of the forwards to go offside, anticipating a pass that never comes and it's too late to slow down before crossing the line... or they just get creamed by the other team's defence.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not exactly the king of EASHL or anything, but I like to think I'm pretty good at sticking to my position. I "work" (read: play) hard to make sure I'm not hanging anyone out there to dry, or being the direct cause of multiple odd-man chances against. It gets frustrating to see one of my d-men whipping passed me with the puck, and the other d-man trailing along behind looking for a rebound, while the other two forwards are tripping over themselves trying to avoid going offside.

I feel your pain. I typically play center but sometimes I end up playing more defense than anything because some idiot on defense wants to score goals by any means necessary.
