Do I ever!
I've been adding it to my green bin every week, but it may take all winter.

A kiln would be a great addition to your new garage and provide lots of heating.
Turn that clay into pots, crash one of those Christmas markets, profit.

Oh man, those Christmas markets are the worst. I can't believe how many people like buying crappy homemade crafts.

Fuzz could change all that with his handcrafted clay figurines.

911k is pretty insulting. But for more info, here's the artists' website...

Kind of a mish mash of everything one might see in the area.

I think it looks cool and will look even cooler when it’s finished.
This city is full of NIMBYs & philistines. I guess that shows you how good we’ve got it in Calgary that bull#### like this is what gets people worked up.

I think it is basically finished. Glad to see people like this one. I really hate it but I like the burial towers more now.

Public "Art"
Is that by the Rocky Ridge YMCA? Looks familiar.

Looks similar to the game of Kerplunk, where you have to try and remove sticks without dropping marbles.

I'm a fan of this one.
The problem with Bowfort Towers is the location. If you put those in publically accessible locations they would be better as opposed to looking like misplaced piles.

I like it also, but I do look forward to the public naming contest and people voting in droves to give it the moniker of "bull####".

Hard to say for sure as the picture in the linked article is not a very good one, but initial thoughts are I like it.
It's unfortunate the budget won't allow the Bowfort Towers one to be completed as designed, I think the drumlins would have been a cool touch, are relevant to the location, and should not have been that expensive to build.

Pretty meh, don't love it or hate it (based on the picture). Definitely not as bad as the Bowfort Towers...that thing should be taken down and hauled away for scrap.

I like that one. It kind of looks like a bird's nest, but its okay. I presume it cost a fortune though.

Thats what they did, but they only made it there by lunch and decided to just leave it and call it 'art.'

I see a Pirate Ship. Are we looking at the same thing?
I could never get the hang of those things where you have to unfocus your eyes.

I love the public art program. I also like all the murals that have gone up around downtown recently. If anything, this city could use more art all over the place. It helps the define the urban fabric in which we live, and make otherwise bland areas come to life.
Both pieces at Rocky Ridge are really good, IMO.
