Refs tried everything to get the Oilers the win, but they still couldn't pull through. Suck it Edmonton!

Give 'em a little bit of false hope and then just rip it all away. Nice.

Flames dominated this game in a lot of ways. If it wasn’t for that missed tripping call that lead to the 3-1 goal and the unbelievable save by Koskinen on Ryan, this game shouldn’t have been close at all.
Big save by Rittich on Nugent-Hopkins to keep it 3-2 and a fantasic play by Backlund to crush their comeback was huuuuuge.

In so many previous years with the flames, I would be a ball of nerves in each game because they would always be fighting for their playoff lives.
It’s so nice to kick back, relax and just enjoy a hockey game these days. I’ll be back to being that ball of nerves in April, but with playoffs basically sealed up, it’s nice to not have to live and die with each game.
I love this team.

They’ve shown the Hamonic shove on McDavid about 200 times (slight exaggeration) and no one has mentioned the high stick Hamonic took from McDavid in the same sequence. Not a big deal... just say’n #BattleofAlberta

Doesn't Franklin work for Bell? This game was broadcast by Rogers.

I think you’re confusing Franklin with David Amber.
Franklin works for TSN.
