Default Semi private golf lessons in or near Calgary?

Looking to get my dad, myself, and possibly my girlfriend into some golf lessons in the next week or two.

Can anyone recommend some good places to go for 2-3 people? I took lessons as a kid, and was once not too bad at golf. I'm slightly better than a beginner. My dad has had a lesson or two, and is probably about beginner level. I haven't golfed with my gf before, but from what she tells me, she is probably a total beginner and has never had a lesson.

Any advice much welcome.

Thanks!

I'm taking lessons with Todd right now and I definitely feel like I've improved over this season all ready.

Todd Halpen is about as good as they get.

I was with darryl james for a number of years- very good as well.

I'll third the recommendation for Todd Halpen. I'm currently 1/2 way through a 4 lesson package with Tood (about $450), and I have been very happy with Todd's teaching methodology. The results have been a bit slower than I might have liked, but that's on me for not finding enough time to practise.

When I had my first lesson, another lesson going on behind me had the instructor using all sorts of gizmos, like the club with the big fan on the end of it and such. Todd doesn't use any of that crap, or at least didn't with me. He looked at my swing, shot some video which we reviewed, and we started on some swing changes right away. He clearly explained the rationale for what we were doing, as well as why my current swing was having the results it did.

Overall, I'd highly recommend him.

Another thing Simon, I signed up with Todd with 2 of my buddies so we are doing a 3 person semi-private lessons.

We range from mostly beginner skill levels but he knows how to split up the right drills for accompanying skill levels. I'm a bit better than my other two friends so he has me doing other drills that help improve my game while he gets the others to do other drills for their game.

We did a 7 lesson pack, only done 4 so far and my game has improved immensely (for myself I'm very happy so far, I know I have tons of room to improve and practice more)
I dropped about 10-15 strokes per round this season and could stand to lose at least 5 more if I can hit better than 50% of my 4 footers. Hopefully the putting lesson we have coming up will help.

Good luck on your improvement class choice!
