That's actually a better Aquaman trailer. It doesn't look terrible. I still have low expectations but they're slightly raised after the last trailer.

I thought the first look trailer we got was better, or was that fan made? The one where he says "#@(* Batman."

Officially wrapped on Avengers 4. It was an emotional day to say the least. Playing this role over the last 8 years has been an honor. To everyone in front of the camera, behind the camera, and in the audience, thank you for the memories! Eternally grateful.

Interesting.. seems like a pretty obvious tweet he made on a public platform? We all suspected it, but confirmation Cap will die in Avengers 4?

Or he is trolling us to draw away from the actual death of IronMan!

I don’t think that tweet has anything to do whether not he dies. But it is likely confirmation that it’s the last time he ever plays Captain America.

I think Steve Rogers and Tony Stark both die in Avengers 4.

You'd think both actors would want to keep their characters.

This is a Gravy Train and they should be riding it to the end of the line.

This is comic books. There’s always ways back.

I dunno, sometimes actors really do care about their arcs and how they end. Steve Won’t stop until he’s dead, and Tony’s alone on an alien world without his suit. Thinking about it, Tony surviving and living to become the global benefactor and father (real or surrogate) he’s supposed to be would probably be a better way to wrap Tony, at least for a while.

Cap is toast I think though.

I'm pretty sure from what I've read that RDJ has made more than enough money off of Iron Man that he never needs to work again.

You could say that about a lot of actors and characters.

Nobody knows for sure, but rdj may be getting a surprisingly large cut of the profits of the Avengers movies too. Large enough that Disney is considering killing his character just so they won't have to pay him.

Most reports state he gets a base salary of 10+ million plus 2.5% of profits. Some reports state he is getting as much as 7%.

This actually looks really good, and I'm sure they'll refine the cgi even further before release.

DC obviously doesn't have the best track record, so I'll reserve judgement until we get a few reviews before I go full out on this one.

Yeah this is true I’m pretty sure RDJ has worked himself into an EP role to get paid to do basically nothing but strut few a movie once a year or something.

Low estimates have RDJ making about 250 million so far. That's not normal.

I do not buy that. I'd need some proof.

The only reason I say that is because Disney once balked at giving even a fraction of that to some of their executives (granted thats a much bigger pie) as compensation, but still.

I find that hard to believe. That would be some poor decision making.

It wouldn't have been Disney's deal, it would have been inherited from Marvel.

RDJ basically worked on Iron Man for free and after it was a gigantic success he renegotiated to include some back-end of the some part of the whole franchise. That's pretty well-known. What's not known is exactly how much of which projects he gets. All Marvel? Just ones that include an Avengers plotline? Regardless, he's made a stink ton of money. And can basically do whatever project he wants. If The Avengers kill him off, all the more he can hold out for to come back in 15 years for a reunion.

Apparently he made $10 million for Spider-man Homecoming. For the amount of screen time he had where his face was showing, that's a nice pay cheque.
