Bingo,
Kudos to you for seeing the signs of this streak coming. But even more impressive IMO, you are refraining from taking the “told you so” path.
You did some research and presented some facts without a preconceived agenda.

Well not to take anything away from Bingo but pretty sure the flames had better advanced stars before the streak. Our advanced stars from this streak probably match a .500 record.
But either way. Stats or not i hope Bingo predicts a 10 game streak and I hope he is right once again .

This is probably true, but also one of the reasons to be wary of small sample sizes. The Flames’s numbers will suffer from playing two of the top home teams, and then the top team in shots. In a concentrated sample the results are bound to look bad, but are probably not actually as bad as they appear.

We only need to be wary of small sample sizes if they show bad news.

Thanks guys, just happy they're winning.
Makes the game stories a lot more fun.
To answer what's happening now ... in this seven game win streak ...
out shot 188-182 (49.2%)
however ...
in shot attempts they are 334-325 (50.6%)
and ...
in scoring chances they are 60-56 for 51.7%.
They're still playing quite well.
If you want to look at score effects the Flames are 51.7% of shots, 53.9% of shot attempts and 54.5% of scoring chances.
They're a good hockey team right now, it sure looks sustainable.

Have they proven they can win at home yet? Our home record is still 5th worst in the league. We've won on the road all year, and now have a road record only rivaled by Tampa.
If we can be a good home team, it will make the last half of the season a lot easier.

It is easier to win at home than it is on the road. I expect the home record will improve.

6 of their next 7 are at home, so we'll know soon enough
Also, after that, February is an absolutely brutal stretch of the schedule, so they better.

Against better than average competition too.
