Hard one to call. Toronto has the better skaters, but Tampa has a massive edge in net. Have to go with the stronger goaltending. Tampa in 6.

Best before 1967 will continue to haunt the Leafs as Tampa has the better golatending. Should be a short series with Tampa winning in 5 games.

Toronto with the better skaters is debatable. I think their forwards are pretty even, but they don't have an anchor on the backend like Hedman. Tampa with the better defence and way better goalie, plus the cup experience. I think Leafs lose in 5.

I think the Leafs do it this year and win a round. Leafs in 6.

Adios Leafs. You'll be wishing you ran into Boston again. TBL in 6, with a blown series lead from Toronto.

Advanced stats indicate that the Leafs are ahead of Tampa in every category but goaltending. However, the goaltending gap is so massive that Tampa probably still wins the series.

Leafs in 6 but then are demolished in Rd 2 as their goaltending catches up to them, nevermind the fact that they’ll be anointed the Cup by Sportsnet/CBC and their fans after beating TB.

Haha man that’s a tough first round draw when you get home ice advantage. Oh well, good luck!

No Boston curse in round 1 for TO, but playing the 2-time defending champs may be almost as bad. Tampa in 6.
