I had a 1995, but looked the same. The damn thing was indestructible, and perfect for a poor student.

1977 Celica st. I’ve found one recently but it’s pretty tough and needs a full massive resto. Might buy it just for nostalgia. Lol

LOVED that car.

1988 Pontiac Firebird Formula. Black but not quite as nice as the GTA version in this picture, more like the red one but black. Hasn't really stood the test of time in terms of looks. I'd love to find a 1979 firechicken trans-am.

Edit: Found a picture of the exact colour/model:

NSFW!

Blue 1974 Hatchback like the one in front. An oil burner with holes in the floorboards. Every time I let off the gas, the car would fill up with smoke. Something went bang in the engine after 6 weeks, so I pulled it into an alley, took off my nice new Grant steering wheel and the new battery and, with those two items in my arms, hopped onto a bus. The bus driver shook his head knowingly and let me on for free.

I still have the steering wheel, which hung on the wall of my son's room. Now, when the grandson comes over and we watch Formula 1 together, he puts on one of my old helmets and sits on the couch beside me with this same steering wheel in his hands

Ha! Back in the day it was a little tank. Manual choke and A.M. radio. Had a few run ins with light standards and such and it never slowed it down. Well, until an oncoming car tried to turn in front of me and it it turned into a head-on.

Tore my knee open on the metal bracket that held the choke knob under the dash. Those cars sure weren't built for safety. Got $500 from insurance though!

The 1977 Celica wasn't my first but it was the first car I bought brand new.

It hurt when I sold it and watched it being driven away.
