Yeah, the complete production drop off a cliff since being played less with Eichel is damning if true. Especially if he was also dragging Eichel down.

Anyone else watch the Sabres/Kings game yesterday. Kane wont get much at the trade deadline and i bet he doesnt even get term in free agency. More like a show me 1 or 2 year. He sucks without riding Eichels coat tails. Stay away!

He's basically Rene Bourque with a history of attitude problems. Same production, same 'tool box', same streakiness. Both peaked in production closer to the 05 Lockout than to today. Both anchors when not playing with better players.

Would just need Treliving to show Chia Pet some Kane highlights on YouTube and gush for a few minutes on how awesome it was going to be to have an impact player on the Flames.
