If he can be top 4 as early as this year that would be awesome. We can then move Hanifin for help up front. Hanfin+Monahan+Gaudreau (if he isnt open to re-signing) this summer could be great bait to get another top 6 centre.
Basically he would open a lot of options up for us to upgrade up front.

Giordano will be sliding out of the top 4 over the next couple years. When that happens, Hanifin and Valimaki will be the top 4 on the left side.
Maybe Mackey or someone else turns into a stud and makes Hanifin expendable. But I think we should wait until that actually happens before we ship out one of our best young Dmen.

No doubt, but always sort of sad to see a voice quieted by the almighty hammer of the mods.
I generally don't mind when people have differing opinions, but when a poster becomes outright hostile in his posts because people disagree with his takes, it becomes a problem. It's why he was on my ignore list (my first and only user I think) and why I won't be sad he's gone.

I am sure the Mods had a good reason for doing so, not criticizing their decision, I just feel bad for losing any member of the community. I would even feel bad if we lost ricardow. Primarily because I would likely then be in the running for most off the wall poster.
