Can't blame them for making better moves than the LV Raiders (feels weird to say LV).

It's not like the Bucs have been a better organization than the Raiders over the last decade or more. They are going Super Bowl or bust which is exciting for their fans short term. If it works great, if it doesn't they will be in shambles having to rebuild once again. I'm pretty happy with the direction of the Raiders since Mayock became GM as last season's draft was fantastic and the 2020 one looks very promising.

...so just 2 days after all the Alvin Kamara contract holdout drama and Saints salary cap squeeze, now its being reported the Saints are working hard to sign DL Jadaveon Clowney to a 1 year, $10 million deal.
Saints off-seasons, man... they're never quiet.

In a surprising move, the Miami Dolphins have released quarterback Josh Rosen instead of working out a trade for him, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter on Friday.

Miami traded a 2nd and a 5th for him............16 months ago.

@AdamSchefer:
Next monster QB deal is in: QB Deshaun Watson and Texans are finalizing their long-term agreement that now is expected to be completed today, sources tell ESPN. Watson had two years remaining on his deal. Now he and Houston will be tied together for the next half decade, plus.
Deshaun Watson is signing a 4-year, $160 million extension today, per source.
Deshaun Watson’s contract is worth a total of $177.54 million with nearly $111M in guarantees. Other than Patrick Mahomes 12-year deal, this is the largest total contract, as well as guarantee in NFL@history. Asked about the deal, agent @DavidMulugheta confirmed it.

Watch New England pick him up now and he will live up to his potential and torment the Dolphins for years.

Raiders traded a third round pick before he ever plays a down. That’s a well run organization.

Can't help but feel happy for Alex Smith. Making the Washington roster after all the #### he had to deal with ... great stuff.

He was apparently spending a lot of time late evening in casinos with a posse of his buddies and they didn't feel he was a good fit in the locker room. In June he was also involved in a DEA house raid where he was arrested at the scene. Much like how Mayock drew the line with AB fining him rather than try to force a square peg in a round hole, you can argue getting rid of a player before he becomes an issue in the locker room is the sign of an organization learning how to do things the right way.

Yep, no issue
He was gonna get cut, beat writers saying he had a horrible camp, couldn't pick up any pass protection
So get something for him instead seems like a great move
Especially when mayocks 1st year draft class was very strong, and everything coming out about guys like ruggs, arnette, and Edwards has been that they are exceeding expectations, especially Edward's, who was gonna likely be starting even before Tyrell William's injury
