Dube Ruzicka out, Klapka Coronato in?

Though as mentioned in another thread, would prefer Klapka with Kadri and Zary, which would leave Coronato on 4th line unless they made other moves.

Just think Kadri benefits from a bang and crash guy like Pospsil is rather then another skilled guy.

The writing was on the wall when he got scratched by the Wranglers last night. Hope he sees game action tonight.

No. Pospisil is injured. Reportedly won't be back till the all star break.

since Kylington wasn't recalled, can we assume he is now off LTIR, and placed on the 14 day conditioning?

Adds to the fun of tonight! I hope we get Klapka, Wolf, and Coronato in tonight.

*Edit - Nope, Vladar starts with Marky backing up

2 out of 3 ain’t bad, loving Coronato playing up with Kadri and Zary, also happy that Dube looks like he isn’t slotting in tonight, excited to see Klapka use his size and I think Ruzicka could benefit from having a guy like that on his line, Greer has a high motor too so that line could provide some energy tonight for sure.

As expected I would say, though it was either him back up, or a first look at Pettersen (who I imagine will now be the next forward call-up when there is room).

Hopefully Coronato does so well during this call-up that he makes it impossible for Conroy to send him back down ever again.

Nice. I was wondering when Gilbert might be back. I guess Desimone’s turnover was the reason for him being out.

Ruzicka or Dube. Coin flip on that one. Ruzicka probably gives you a bit more offensive potential. But Dube brings more speed and effort.

Looking forward to watching Coronato and Klapka. Hopefully we get good Vladar tonight. I thought he played well in the last two games.

I'm going to bet he doesn't go down again this season. Please put him with Naz and Zary.

I'd take that bet. Don't get me wrong, I think Coronato is a going to be a very good offensive player, and I see Coronato gunning for a top 6 spot next year.

That said, I think that his defensive play, his puck retrievals, and the pace he plays with aren't NHL level just yet.

I also didn't like how he fit on the Zary-Kadri line last time he was called up, they were chasing the play for most of that game. It seems that the analytics agree with me. In that game aginst the NJD, that line had xG% of 28.1%, Corsi of 33.3%, and Fenwick of 38.5%.

Hopefully, Coronato makes me eat a lot of crow, but even if he isn't ready just yet, I'm sure that he's going to have a great future with the Flames.

Coronato’s skating deficiencies are going to be tough to correct mid season, IMO.

Kadri and Zary can drive the play, he can just cruise in for the snipe.

Coronato should be with Huberdeau. Maybe he can spark the bum.
