Rafa has been poor, but credit to Schwartzman for going for his shots consistently. Still feels like there's a loooong way to go before we start seriously thinking upset, but I doubt anyone would have had Schwartzman up a set and a break.

Saved by the rain again? Give Schwartzman credit he's taking it to Nadal, I hope Nadal can regroup and get back into the match. If he loses this set I don't like his chances.

There's something about Schwartzman that oozes big game player for me. He's just a highly versatile, skilled athlete that has the mental make-up to beat big name players. I would not be surprised to see his name among the top 4-5 players for several years.
Many players have been dismantled mentally by rain delays at Rolan Garros so very interested to see how Schwartzman handles this.

Sucks way more for DelPo and Cilic. DelPo had Cilic in a 0-30 hole at 5-5, and now they're tied at 5-5 in the tiebreak. Just such a joke of an event from the organizer perspective.

Just saw the forecast for the weather in Paris, its supposed to rain Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday & Tuesday. If it does rain hard each day I wonder what they will do, maybe play 2 matched per day or have it finished on Wednesday?
I just want to see a small window of sunshine on Thursday for Gaby and Mate to hopefully win the mixed doubles title, then the skies can open up on Roland Garros.
It honestly looks like the first round of a 250 event out there with how few fans are there for either match right now. Given how exceptionally poorly run the event is and seemingly how little the French care about it, maybe it's time to designate another event as a major instead? Swap it for Madrid or Rome? Horrible event though.

Ya I'm surprised how few people turned up to watch Nadal, had this been Wimbledon and Federer there wouldn't be a seat available. And Paris also has an ATP1000 event for some reason, yet LA and the entire west coast has nothing.
Nadal just rolling now, hoping Cilic and Delpo go 5 very long sets .
Anyway, Fernandez is crushing her opponent in the girls' QF. The moment I turned the TV on, Garland double faulted twice in a row to be broken at love. Currently 6-4, 5-1 for the Canadian. This one is pretty much over.
Edit, and another break to wrap it up. On to the semis!
Dabrowski's match looks like it will come after Cilic-Del Potro finishes. And that one is late in the fourth.
