Can’t be sent down, so he looks like a harbinger of an imminent Tanev trade. D about to get very thin.

I like the direction Conroy is taking. Trade expiring older assets for controllable younger ones, pick up more assets for free. Maybe we can even trade Pachal for a 4th next season at the trade deadline.

I didn't anything about Pachal so I did a little digging on him, apparently at 17 he noticed by scouts as a good strong skater but was a little pudgy and only 5'11 or 6' tall, a late growth spurt and sheer determination to be a pro hockey player got him to the NHL, supposedly a wonderful guy and very much liked by his teammates.

Well done Conny

Well, he can if he were to be waived again, and clears waivers. How likely that would be would be anyone's guess.

Thought he played great last night. Broke up lots of plays. A couple nice hits. Good breakout passes and safe plays in his own end. Seemed him and Shilly were out there often. Didn’t recall the Tanev line as much as this line. Sometimes that’s a good thing though.

Moves well back there. I think the biggest addition is a dman that will hit. He is like a better skating Sarich. Only been one game, but like what he brings to the table so far. Plus the cost of nothing doesn't hurt.

No wonder VGK fans weren't happy about this move.

He had a few hiccups on his first couple of shifts in terms of positioning, but learned quickly and figured out where to be. Only had trouble defending on one other shift later.

He has a solid meat and potatoes game. Nothing flashy, but he can move well out there and he uses his body very well. Couple of nice hits to break up plays or get the puck back. It's early, but I like him even more than Gilbert in this role because of his mobility.

Early return are good. Let's hope he keeps it up.

He’ll get a big opportunity here if Tanev goes. And he seems ready for it. Nice add.

He looked really good last night.

Of course everybody did, against a very good team.

I think you could say, great town compared to weyburn, you really need to have some caveats.

I loved it.

Great people.
Easy drive to the office.
Cheap golf.
Crazy lake that was heated because of the boundary dam.
Loonie beer in Noonan across the border.
Creepy strippers in Crosby.

What more would a 21 year old need?!

Sounds like he and Gilbert could be a pretty tough pairing

I was there for fracs, mostly stuck in hotels and on site for small jobs that only pumped at 1.0m3/min for 1000m3, so like 16 hours of pumping... sometimes they would move up to 1.10m3/min and that would save so much time. I just sat on a bucket by the frac pump taking samples for hours at a time.

it's possible you are remembering the merits of being 21, not those of Estevan
