Had an idea!

Kipper is some kind of goalie.
I said at the start of the tournament the Fins would do well because they play a good defensive style of hockey.
Fun to watch too.

Let's go Slovakia!
Then again, any team with Marian Hossa is automatically doomed.

Yeah, creating an even worse screen you goof.

Chances are Kubina clears out the front of the net, creating no screen. Think a little please.
Onto the game it ended the way I thought it would. A mistake by one team and in this case it wasn't a players mistake it was a stupid IIHF rule mistake. Like Ray said a one dollar chin strap that broke potentially cost the czechs there tournament.

I loved how PL was slightly gushing over Kipper while Ferraro was finding it hard to be gracious about him.

I would think the USA will get the noon game, and Canada will get the 6:30. If not, I expect a lot of people in Canada to be taking long lunch breaks on Friday.

The Swedes have looked shaky and if there is any team that is poised to pull an upset it could be the team with a 6'9" Norris winner. Halak shows up and goes away, it can really depend on which act he intends to play today. Then again, any team with the Sedins should be pretty confident. Kronwall has been stellar.
Sweden has faced all the wrong kinds of adversity so far, so I think they really need a solid game tonight to have any chance of beating Canada. If the Slovaks pull off the upset then the regular underdog status applies.
I predict 3-1 Sweden.

I'm a bit torn. Ordinarily, I'd cheer for Sweden. But on balance, it's probably better for Canada if Slovakia wins.
So I guess I just hope for a really exhausting game...

PL: Kiprusoff with some kind of save! He's LITERALLY ON FIRE!
Ferraro: Yeah, but Luongo could have saved it.

I've been able to catch all the games televised so far.
Palffy is in that early stage of a veteran's decline. His legs are going, but not much else of his game looks diminished.
And he can really wave a flag.
