Back to the moon: Artemis program - Artemis 1 launch Nov 16
So lets talk Artemis program.
Artemis 1 - August 29, 2022 - unmanned launch to test the rockets and Orion spacecraft looping around the moon
Artemis 2 - May, 2024 - first crewed test flight of the rockets and Orion spacecraft orbiting the moon
Artemis 3 - 2025 - crewed lunar landing after successful support mission of Human Landing System in lunar orbit
Artemis 4 - 2027 - crewed mission to assemble the Lunar Gateway station in lunar orbit
Artemis 5-8 - crewed missions with lunar landing with increased infrastructure

Artemis is the Edmonton Oilers of the space industry. "Scrubs are part of the program."
I can't wait to watch this rocket fly just because it's so powerful... But I will be surprised if Artemis III ever flies. This rocket and its direct-to-lunar-orbit concept are obsolete already...before it's even been of the ground once.

They have another launch window next Monday morning. But if it needs repairs then that won’t happen.

About 25 minutes until the 2 hour launch window opens.
Still looking good for launch. Teams were able to resolve a leaking liquid hydrogen valve.
Only problem being reported now is that one of the radar sites needed for launch is down. Being attributed to a faulty ethernet switch, they are working on replacing it.
