Nice, so sounds like some routes may still be priced appropriately. I should look around, I wish there was a site that showed them instead of having to put them into the search one by one.

If I got 100 airmiles in a month from Safeway, but now get 1000 scene points, that's essentially the same value. Some reward systems are ridiculous, I swear they make them less valuable so you collect millions of them to seem like you are doing good, but in reality it's the same as the others anyways in terms of real dollar value.

Well, that's not exactly true. It means that's whatever Safeway is willing to pay for at that point in time.

Earn and burn. You're immune to devaluations. Saving them up usually leads to heartbreak. If you ever find a redemption you're happy with, take it.

Can you book travel with carriers that don't play the YQ/YR game? ANA, Avianca, AeroMexico, Delta come to mind. I'm sure there are others. It doesn't have to originate where you live; you can book origin and destination for two places that are elsewhere.

Anytime I used my Airmiles, always for airfare, hotel or car rental it was almost always equivalent to 10.9 - 11.2 cents per.
