Anybody received Scene points in their account, though? I have probably been Safeway 3-4 times and have had 0 points accredited to my account since September 18th when we saw a movie. I don't really care about the points, I just want to make sure it's working.

Yeah I also have nothing in my Scene transactions from Safeway. Have other transactions both earning and redeeming but nothing at all from Safeway despite me getting the card on my phone early last week.

Apparently you don't earn unless it's buying something that has a specific [buy multiple / get points] type offer. No points just for spending a certain amount.

Oh yeah, that's definitely the case. There is no "base earning rate": it's entirely from "offers" on certain products.
I've lucked out, insofar as I have earned a couple hundred points (or $2) in the last couple weeks on stuff I would have bought either way. Going forward I expect it'll get a lot crappier, as MisterPants rightly point out in a post on the previous page.

Got my Scene card back in September. Done about a dozen transactions. Only way I can see my balance is on my Sobeys receipts. The app shows 0 transactions still.

Why the hell am I going to let Safeway/Sobeys track my spending if there's literally nothing it it for me except some bonus points on #### I wouldn't normally ever buy. It's rather unfortunate there's a Safeway 5-10 minutes from me in every direction at North Hill, Kensington, Centre St, Thorncliff, and the airplane marker beacon at Brentwood I guess. The tyranny of convenience, indeed.

Scene Redemption, Pharmacy, Self Checkouts are all down. Internal operations are a mess, so warehouse is sending out items based on guesses (and it's also why the meat counter case was closed). Payroll is down.
I think it's safe to assume Scene and Pharmacy personal data was breached.

Glad to see this is officially out, as has been floating around for a while now, mysterious IT issues/can't enter scene etc card at self checkout for weeks, weird non-answers if you ask about it, and within the previous week or so news articles popping up essentially with "uhh, they are being quiet but about all these IT issues...".
