Default Income support while re-training/studying

Hi all,

I am wondering if anybody has any experience with any re-training/income support while studying programs? I always hear on the news about job grants, income support, re-training programs for people and some financial support.

I have done some light research on my end about some qualifying options etc but looking to see if anybody on CP has any insight on anything provincial (AB) or federal government related.

Thanks!

Eligibility usually depends on a number of factors like your income, age, what kind of training you’re taking, etc. If the reason you’re doing the training is related to an injury or disability you may also qualify for additional grants.
