Nomadland was a snooze. It seemed like someone trying to be smart and intellectual about something and falling flat.

The way things are going in the US, will Summer blockbusters be back this year?

I think we're going to see a permanent switch to simultaneous theatre and streaming releases. But I expect with the American's pounding away with vaccines that most of the Studios will be desparate to get filming going again.

At that time you must have had to watch it on the group screens throughout the cabin. Not sure why anyone would think showing that movie to everyone was a good idea. Sick sense of humour by the in-flight crew.

Godzilla vs Kong’s box office numbers basically guaranteed movie delays are over. It made pretty well the same as it would’ve made pre-Covid.

For such a stupid movie I was pretty surprised at how much I enjoyed it.

It just hit that sweet-spot between being serious and being fun and they (mostly) left the humans and their BS out of it which, I think we can all agree, was the giant weakness of the last few Godzilla/Kong films.

Nobody cares about the puny humans, let the monsters fight and destroy stuff.
