How in the ever loving hell does Zack MacEwan end up with a one game suspension from all the shenanigans with Darnell Nurse last night. Apparently for kneeing. Don’t recall seeing that. But I do remember seeing Nurse, after the play, slash MacEwan twice, cross check him two more times, all while MacEwan did nothing. And I did see Nurse jump MacEwan from behind with his gloves off and start throwing punches. When MacEwan turned around and started wailing on Nurse, the tough guy Nurse goes for a MMA takedown and out of all that... somehow the league decides tha MacEwan should be suspended for 1 game for kneeing. What a ####ing joke!!

Food for thought: the Oilers last 3 years have been the worst statistical 3 year span in NHL history.

When nurse was on the ground he skated by a kneed him in the head.
Nurse did all that and got penalties for it.

Nurse could have had 3-4 penalties on one play. Yes he got penalized for one crosscheck!
Crosscheck, slash, crosscheck, punch , punch. Crazy what he gets away with.
Before the fight he has a nasty slash and another cross check.
Lost the fight, then tries to throw punches when the opponent is prone on the ice with both linesmen involved.
For a tough player, Nurse sure is cowardly and dirty.

Yup agreed on the multiple penalties. He got his money worth on the 2 minutes. However I’d be pissed too if I got kneed in the head like that too. But yeah he could have got more.
He got an extra penalty for the fight too.
Don’t mind some emotion during a loss

Crazy what that whole team gets away with!! Got away with a lot of crap in the 80’s because Gretzky, get away with a lot of crap in the 2020’s because McDavid.

Nurse also picked the guy up and slammed him into the ice, then started swinging at him while he was down. I understand why Buchnevic was pissed when he hit Mantha in the face too, but the fact that you're understandably angry isn't supposed to shield you from supplemental discipline.
