In case anyone here is interested, CIG will be having an event at Gamescom in Koln, Germany on Friday evening.

There will be 2000 fans in attendance at E-Werk Cologne.

The folks at CIG will be showing off some of their latest work.

The commercial for the RSI Constellation will debut at the event.

When exact times for the livestream are known I will post them here.

Time of the stream is irrelevant, since monumental glitches are bound to occur when CIG is involved. Count on at least a 30-60 minute delay. I'm pretty to see what they reveal. The Constellation commercial and variants are exciting, and I wonder if there will be any information regarding the planetside and FPS modules.

The event is scheduled to start at 8 PM local time in Koln.

That is 12:00 PM (Noon) Calgary time on Friday.

The livestream should be up sometime after that...

Elite Dangerous with my Oculus Rift Devkit 2 and noise-cancelling headphones is a freakin' amazing experience. ED Is a must-buy for RIFT owners.

These in-universe commercials are all extremely well done and pretty meta in that they actually function as commercials to get people to fork out money for them in real life.

The constellation variants currently range from $200.00 to $400.00 USD!

You can get the Constellation Taurus for $150 as a standalone ship if you already have another game package.

That is actually a significant discount ($75 less) than the Constellation was before.

Yeah but no LTI and it's still $150 for a digital ship.

[somehow forgot I spent hundreds of dollars already in this game for a Super Hornet and a Starfarer]

Oh absolutely. I'm not suggesting anyone SHOULD go buy one.

It's just that if you are speaking in terms of relative value between digital space ships, it is pretty good.

I will just be starting the game with my 315p... I want to work my way up in the game.

And predictably as soon as the Constellation variants were made available the 50 million goal was smashed through. It was enough to get Star Citizen on this list
