Default Lucas Feuk

Feuk scored his first ever Swedish men's league goal yesterday on a 5 on 3 PP. It was his 2nd game of the season and 7th ever game in the Allsvenskan.

He is getting limited 4th line minutes at even strength with some PP time. This is pretty normal for an 18 year old kid playing still learning how to play in the men's league

https://www.hockeyallsvenskan.se/gam.../articles/post

Hightlight starts around the 2:01 mark.

It's been a while since we've had a Feuk update. A couple of months ago he was traded from Södertälje SK to AIK, the worst team in the HockeyAllsvenskan. Feuk has bounced between the J20, and the men's league and has yet to record another point in the Allsvenskan.

Feuk has been spending most of his time in the SuperElit U20 lately.

He recorded a goal today. His 12th point in 10 games in that league.

In the HockeyAllsvenskan he has one assist in 15 games with AIK.

His Allsvenskan total statline reads 1 goal 1 assts in 22 games.

Feuk has started his season in the HockeyAllsvenskan. After 5 games he has scored one goal.

He has also played a couple games in the J20 National league. Last year he bounced between the two leagues as well.

I can’t remember a time where our drafting of Swedish forwards has been this bad.

Seems like since Backlund, every Swedish forward drafted has been a disaster.

Like in the past, even if they didn’t make the NHL, they would still at least have some nice production in Sweden enough to give us some hope before they flamed out over here, but the recent forwards we draft can’t even produce in Sweden at lower levels now.

We seem to do well with the defensemen though.

your name suggests you are a long time Flames fan. Perhaps you have blocked out Jesper Matsson and Niklas Sundblad. At least the current crop are not 1st rounders who bust

Probably because we aren’t drafting them in the first 2-3 rounds..

The talent pool usually drops off significantly in the later rounds.

The last Swedish forward we drafted in the first 3 rounds not named Backlund was LWer Erik Andersson back in 1997.

Feuk seems to be splitting his time in the J20 Nationell league and the HockeyAllsvenskan again this season.

He only has 1 point in his 13 games in the HockeyAllsvenskan

Flames NA picks have been really good of late, their Euro picks.... not so much.

Good NA scouts, not so good Euro scouts?

Edit: that being said Im super high on Kinnvall. Non drafted though.

I hope they are able to get it right, for Feuk's sake.
