Bennett, yet again, is our most engaged and play driving forward this series. Give him more ice time, better linemates.

Go with two C's on the fourth. They got their teeth kicked in yesterday. Rhino's out. Mangipane also has for nearly two seasons now out performed Bennett. Although Mang wasn't good yesterday, I don't think there is sound reasoning behind pulling him out of the top 6.

the third line has looked good. the less tinkering to the overall line up, the better as far as I see it. Stick wiith what is working an make adjustments where necessary. there's not enough time to really shake things up.

You know what would be awesome? The Flames scoring the first goal. I know it's asking for a lot but we can always dream.

Really hope we can modify our PP. It was painful to watch yesterday. That’s also a credit to the Jets. Can we ever be the team to set the tone (in a positive way)? I am pretty cynical about our chances at this point but I’ve been wrong before! GFG!

The boys should hopefully be well rested after not showing up yesterday. Back on the horse today and time for a better showing.

Talbot hasn’t been bad, but back-to-back games (and three games in four days) is nothing to sniff at. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Rittich in but my guess is that they go back to Talbot.

Yesterday reminded me of what I don't like about Ward: 'slow it down, slow it down, slow it down'.

Trap in the neutral zone, D to D passes to set things up, perimeter passing.

Even his interviews are slow and defensive: 'they played hard and we need to match them, need to be ready for them, need to be engaged, need to play smart'

HOW ABOUT SOME AGGRESSION? And initiate the play instead of reacting? Forecheck aggressively? And trigger the transition game the moment we get the puck, instead of circling back and setting it up?

FFS, let's try bringing the game to them for once!

40-0 Jets

Then 1 more game and the Flames will be put out of their misery and can continue on with their summer.

Rinaldo needs to come out. I think his effectiveness comes from energizing the crowd/building with hits etc. and that is completely negated with these games. You don't see any lift from his teammates because of him and he obviously doesn't provide any offense. I am not a fan of Jankowski so maybe try Quine for a turn on the bottom line, he plays with more Jam than Czarnik and I think would be well suited for this

I would love to see Quine in for Rinaldo.

Great call.

If they lose this one, the series is probably over. I doubt this team has the mental fortitude to win two straight in a do-or-die situation. That's way too much pressure for this fragile bunch. They need a big decisive win today to hopefully regain some of that mojo and swagger that they showed in game 1.

Today we see how these guys respond. They have no reason to get run out of the rink like they did last year by the Avalanche.

I would be taking Rinaldo out of the lineup myself, and likely try Janikowski to see if the tinman actually does have a pulse. If he doesn't respond than you go to the next guy for the next game.

If the Flames had not figured out that Winnipeg is going to try and grind it out with three lines, and a scoring line yesterday...they have no excuse to not be ready for that today. Hopefully they respond and play a lot more like they did on Saturday. Tkachuck got lots of buzz, but he has to do more on the ice today.
