The Rangers have the following RHD:

Trouba, 26yo, they just signed long term
DeAngelo, 24yo, is an RFA this year and was on pace for over 60 points
Fox, 22 yo, was on pace for 45 points as a rookie D
Nils Lundkvist, 20yo, just set the SWE record for under 20 defensman scoring


They're loaded with RHD, and I think it would be hilarious if they traded Fox as a result. It would be even funnier if they traded him to the Flames, except it would suck to spend assets to get a guy we drafted with a 3rd round pick, but the premise would be hilarious.

They will probably be smart and trade DeAngelo while his value is high.

He will ask for a lot so I’m sure NYR will trade him to a team in need.

Yea considering they have Chytil who looked good as 20yo C on the rise that would make sense too.
