I seriously doubt Arsenal will actually be in a relegation fight. They might finish 13th or so, but there are still enough teams appreciably worse than them that they should be fine (plus you assume there will be the usual new manager bump when Arteta gets canned). But no doubt this is a titanic rebuilding job that will take years, and that's with a good strategy, which given the owner involved....yeah.

Odegaard is likely going to soon regret heading to Arsenal.

That team is in for a rough season.

I just want Arteta to do enough to stick around. Like they lose to City next week, and that’s probably a given. But Norwich or Burnley have to lose or that’s probably the end for Arteta? I’d rather they get a couple points there and keep him employed. Trust the process. They’re getting good chances and coming close and just can’t catch a break…that sort of thing, for as long as possible!

Your wet dreams never seem to include Tottenham actually winning something.

Tottenham? Winning something?

Now who's delusional?

Yeah things haven’t gone swimmingly for Spurs. The managerial search was a circus, Kane is half out the door and the squad looks paper thin. Once the matches are coming hot and heavy, we’ve got a significant issue.

But you know…we have scored a couple goals and win a couple games so far. So, there’s that.

the red against Perez obviously helped, but that was a fantastic display by West Ham. Antonio is probably the most underrated great player of the league.

Barnet FC had some problems last week...

no Club Shop
no badged replica kit,
no chefs,
no beer,
no bench wear,

no match balls.

So thanks to Ole and Klopps complaining

No more early saturday kickoffs for teams involved in europe on a wednesday

Cant believe it took BT agreeing to the change and the league couldnt mandate it, but at least it's done

every other league goes out of their way to help teams in europe, the premier league leaves it up to bt and sky

Amazingly the "gentleman's agreement" didn't work out in the end.

always going to happen this way, Levy would never cave. Congrats on damaging your own reputation for nothing ... that said, British newspapers have gone to extraordinary lengths to defend poor Harry, so I'm not sure how much it's actually been damaged. Either way, I'd certainly replace the brother with a somewhat competent agent after this mess.

Charlie Kane is an absolute idiot, that's all this confirmed

He probably did give kane an agreement that if he wanted to go, AND THE PRICE WAS MET, he could, the key part being in all caps, it worked for Bale and Modric.

Once they bought Graelish for 100m, and then even Lukaku was bought for 109 I think, Citys offer of 75m + 25m in potential bonuses was idiotic

They probably told kane's brother/idiot/agent if he raised a fuss, spurs would cave. That's never gonna work with 3 years left and dealing with Levy.

Pep says he'll leave City after the 22/23 season and, after a break, manage a national team.

Quote:
Pep Guardiola has said for the first time that he plans to leave Manchester City in 2023 and that his next job will be as the head coach of a national team.

Guardiola, 50, said in an interview with ESPN Brazil that he intends to take a break from management when his contract with City ends after the 2022-23 season, which will be his seventh at the club.

Then he will seek a job in international management, which is sure to be a welcome development for any national federation looking to appoint a top class coach.

They dressed everyone to make sure they won at least 1 game this year. Otherwise, it might have been October.
