It's honestly ridiculous. Wolf is presently allowing one goal per 40 shots!

I lol'd that he gave up a single goal and his GAA and Sv% were negatively impacted.

Clearly only worried about points... at least he cracked that bubble.

Needs to get back on that shut out streak so he can set the record.

These two the next Mangiapane and Andersson (CHL teammates, 1 F & 1 D, who make the NHL)?

I’m liking a lot of our CHL guys - Francis, Poirier, Pelletier, Zary, Wolf.

I think they all have a good NHL potential.

Edit: Guess that is all of our CHL prospects since Kerins signed in Stockton. Well done to find gems like Poirier, Francis and Wolf in later rounds.

Good comparison. I think the Barrie Colts duo of Mang and Andersson came with some skating issues, but the respective sizes and styles are a pretty good match. Poirier, like most players from the Q, still has a lot of work to do on his d-zone play, but the Sea Dogs duo are both great skaters.

I think the scouts have really zeroed in on that certain intangible guality that makes a future NHLer. We have home grown talent in the bigs, as well as NHL guality in the AHL, and the trend looks to be continuing with the guys you mentioned above.

Not exactly sure what Kerins’ status is in the AHL-I think he was there on a PTO, but only because the OHL is shut down right now.

Yea I think you are right about Kerins.

I think we have at least 2 blossoming NHLers on the farm in Ruzicka and Mackey.

I like Pettersen too and Pospisil could be a bottom 6er but they needs more time in the AHL.

I’m a bit sceptical of Phillips and Gawdin and don’t know enough about Philp or Lerby to make my mind up on them yet.

I pretty much agree, although I think I have greater faith in Pettersen, Pospisil, and Gawdin. I think when Sutter gets ahold of the latter two, it won't be long until they are full-time NHLers. Both seem to be built for bottom-6 roles, Gawdin is obviously far more ready. As for Pospisil, we all remember how Sutter gave ice time to role-players like Jordan Nolan....

I too am skeptical about Phillips, but I thought he'd get buried in the AHL, and I was wrong about that, so I wouldn't count him out, but will Sutter have a guy that small on the team? Same question could be asked about Philp and Lerby. Lerby is a guy I cheer for though, because he seems like an exciting player, and because we beat out a few other teams in aquiring his services. Scorp seems to like him so far.

I think you are likely on point. Pospisil looks like an awesome bottom 6 guy. Ruzicka is definitely talented but very inconsistent you wont even notice him a few games at a time.

Phillips wouldn't be on my list of call ups. I guess you want to see what he can do but I haven't been overly impressed. Same with Philip he has an eye for offence but seems like a fairly slow skater. I love Lerby though.

Just gotta disagree with you on one point-Philp is actually a good skater.

I have faith in Pettersen and Pospisil, just think they need more time to develop as I think Ruzicka and Mackey are very close. I think Lerby could be a hidden gem.

Something about Gawdin and Phillips though, I’m just not super high on them.

I’d be happy to be wrong but just how I see it.

Wow. Dustin Wolf has just fallen right off the map. One wonders if he will ever again get another shutout.
