Pantemis gift wraps one, ugh. Row Z man, row Z! He hasn’t made that pass all game
Norman probably could’ve been sent off for a last man foul a few minutes ago too. Got away with that one

And Mexico shows their class and pulls away. Not at all unexpected, but I was starting to think maybe this could actually go to penalties. Losing in the semis is right about where they should have finished. And I agree that Norman probably should have seen red with his challenge shortly before it got to 1-0.
Pumping the Cayman Islands tomorrow will take the sting off this loss.

A brutal 10 minute stretch sinks ‘em. They played hard and battled out there and they were well prepared by the coaches. I hope Pantemis doesn’t dwell on this too long, he’s an excellent shot stopper and if he can improve his feet then he will be a good one.
Excited to see Norman for Cavalry, had a tough one today but a solid tournament. Farsi will be all the better for his minutes and spending time with the team.
I bet Buchanan will see meaningful minutes for Canada in June, easily player of the tournament for Canada.

Norman's precision tackle in the box in the opening minutes probably kept them in the game longer than was likely.
I'm kind of glad that the WCQ game got moved now so the week of soccer can end on a high note.

I would love for Canada to eventually develop a player or two like Antuna. A player better than everyone, who knows he is better than everyone, and who isn’t afraid to tell you he’s better than everyone to get under your skin.

Most of our players on the u23 tonight ride the bench for their club teams. We need to get to a point where our players on these teams are playing regular minutes at a high level. Buchanan is definitely ready for the CMNT. No one else really stepped up and showed they can dominate at this level.

Also, how far has Ballou Tabla fallen? Went from looking like the next big thing to biggest disappointment of the tournament (IMO, anyways). It's looking like he peaked at 18, then got a big head.

Starting lineup. Missed opportunity to cap-tie St Clair, but maybe they'll sub him in at some point...
Davies at LB since he'll basically be a winger against this opposition anyways. Looking forward to a full game of Larin / Millar / Corbeanu up top.

8-0. One more needed to set the record and then ease back and practice positioning and defense.

11-0. Cavallini with all three of his goals with headers.

They won't do that because goal difference could be a factor in winning the group. It's going to come down to that last match against Suriname with both teams likely undefeated.

It was nice to see them live up to expectations and pump them. Sturing looks to have a nice passing range, he pinged a few great balls out there. But yeah, tough to make any conclusions good or bad about anyone
Did Crepeau spend the whole time he was out with his broken hand getting jacked? He’s huge! He’s always been a big guy but he needs a larger jersey!
