If you like Xcom/Gears Tactics/Omerta: City of Gangsters you'll probably like Empire of Sin which is on Game Pass now. It's been on my wishlist since it was announced and planned on buying it when the price was right so I was glad to hear it was coming to Game Pass.

I started playing Persona 5 Royal just over a week ago, and I'm hooked.
This game is so stylish - the presentation is completely different than anything else I've ever played.
I know some JRPGs tend to drag in the later stages, but so far so good. I'm 16 hours in, so probably have another 100 hours to go.
Anyone playing Hitman 3? Anything new with it or does it continue the Hitman trend of every new game being a half dozen DLC levels?
I finished it. There's an OK amount of levels to begin with. Still feels too short for the price honestly, though I know a lot of value is in how replayable the levels are.
It's good though. I would pick it up once it's in the $40-$50 range.

I just started playing this and it's good like all the Hitman games. The one thing I never understood is why they keep the bar code on the back of his head. In a game based on realism of trying to sneak around and assassinate a target, the bar code is kind of out of place. I get that the bar code is kind if the trademark for Agent 47 but it's still weird to me.
"It Takes Two" is out on Friday, a co-op platformer from EA. It's looked like a banger right from the reveal trailer and now the reviews are coming out to match.
It Takes Two is co-op gaming genius and is going to go down as both a classic of the genre and a Game of the Year contender.

It Takes Two is one of the best co-op games we've ever played. The creativity is splashing and the adventure is incredibly entertaining thanks to the mix of all kinds of elements, locations and situations. It plays wonderfully and the variation in environments does the game well as it provides a good surprise effect, and does so time and time again.

It Takes Two is Hazelight and Josef Fares’ most fully realized vision of co-op gaming yet. It uses clever interactivity to highlight the importance of good communication in video games and relationships alike. With Nintendo-quality level design and a charming story to motivate its platforming action, It’s the rare multiplayer game that will strengthen friendships rather than end them.
Oh, and it's only $50. Looking like a must play!

Man you use this word for everything hey? Bangers are sausages or a song with a loud, energetic beat that is good for dancing to.
This game looks great suffices.

Going back and playing the first one. I’m remembering why I get so frustrated with these games. It’s likely user error but I find them more difficult than anything From Software releases. This stupid second level with the Italian plaza, frustrating.

I thought it was more of a synonym for "awesome" or something. Oh well, I'm getting old I guess -- too late as it's already in my vocabulary.
Though, looking at my post history this is only the second time I've used "banger" here, and the first time was in reference to music, so I'm not sure how you'd know that...
(As an aside, my friends and I coined "banger" as a hockey goal where one wildly swings at the puck so hard in front of the net that they smash their stick into the post over a decade ago before the kids started using it for music)

That looks pretty good! My fiancee and I played through Unravel 2 together, and had a lot of fun (though the difficulty was a bit too much for her at times).

I don't know if it's hard. I find it more trial and error than hard. Just before I'm going to make a big chess move I do a manual save in case it doesn't work out and if it doesn't then reload and try a different angle. Sometimes you make a bad early move that ruins some of the challenges so I may just restart the level if I'm trying to get a high score but you can be pretty sloppy and still get the job done IMO. They give you so many ways of taking out your targets that to me the challenge comes down to how clean you do it and how many achievements and points you get.
Doom DLC part 2 is pretty fun, but time to wrap that series up IMO. Best to go out on a high note as I felt this DLC's level design was a a bit lower in quality compared to the last one.
My wife and I started playing "It Takes Two" this weekend, she hasn't touched a video game since "Ohhhh I don't know.. Super Mario Bros?" but she's slowly picking up the mechanics and we're having a lot of fun playing through it together.

It’s an awesome game. Great polish, level design, and cinematic quality. We’ve only just reached the yard outside the shed.
