Can’t lose em all. Just hope they can stay in 9th and not pass Buf and NJ.
Love watching Pospisil, he was great today. Wolf spectacular at times and rough at others, Coronato snipe was nice, hope to see more of those next year. Finally Backlund with the beauty assist and Sharangovich with the better finish, fun game.

It's possible but they are the 4th worst team in the league in the last 20 games (7-13-0).
This isn't the normal "Flames win when it doesn't matter" end of the season. They've sucked and traded all their UFAs.
The only teams they've beat since the deadline have been Tampa, Vegas, Montreal, LA, San Jose, Anaheim, Arizona.
So problem is Montreal, San Jose, Anaheim, and Arizona are trying to suck even more than the Flames are.

I like watching wins a little more than I like tanking for a better pick. It's generally a good feeling, but also there is also the opposite of whatever a silver lining is after a loss this time of year.

Kadri with another ‘wow’ night tonight. He is reminding me of Joe Pavelski in his 33-37 year old seasons where he continued to put near a point per game (with Dallas). Hoping Kadri ages similar as I don’t see his game falling off a cliff any time soon since he is such a competitor.
Next season line of Kuzmenko - Kadri - Pospisil is going to be fun to watch, along with watching Zary at centre. Really hoping Zary & Huberdeau can find some chemistry as that would be another good pair for 2024/2025 season.
It was a boarder-line ‘must lose’ game but hopefully the hockey gods respect teams trying not to tank on purpose and give us a bone.
