I'm way late her but I finally got around to Silicon Valley. What a great show, probably my favorite comedy series since the Office.

Also I'm Dying Up Here is a great new show produced by Jim Carey. It's a drama about stand up comics in LA during the 1970's. Really great stuff so far and apparently lots of the material comes from real stories.

the thing with all these new broadcasters, like an amazon prime or Hulu, is that maybe one will take some more chances to get exclusive content...can't hurt that the Handmaid's Tale has been so well received either.

HBO turned down Mad Men and AMC, who were just rerunning movies, decided to branch out into original content... so there's still hope i think

The Defiant Ones is amazing. Just finished part 3.

Anyone interested in the rise of west coast rap, Dre/NWA/Snoop etc or even hip hop in general should be watching this. Even if you don't care about rap, the Jimmy Iovine parts are great. Iovine's relationships with Bono, Bruce Springsteen, Tom Petty, Stevie Nicks, Trent Reznor, Gwen Stefani, Marilyn Manson have all been featured so far.

It's on hbo.

Pretty self indulgent, but entertaining nonetheless.

He released a new single, which was playing at the end of it, but I want him to release a song with the beat at the 25 minute mark of episode 4.

If one liked Narcos then watching the Univision series El Chapo would be worth one's while.

The Tick, August 25th on Amazon Prime. I liked the pilot they did so I'm excited for this.

I love The Tick but that looks terrible.

Yeah, that doesn't look so good.

I need to clean my palate of that questionable portrayal of The Tick with a much, much better version that they really need to stop trying to improve upon.

I watched several episodes I hadn't seen on a flight recently. I had gotten tired of that show and his schtick. But with some time away, I am re-appreciating just how funny it is. Apparently he is making a new season.

On episode 5 of Iron Fist. Does this get much better? Questioning if it's worth seeing it through.

Was it on United Airlines, season 8? LOL cause that's pretty much why I've gotten back into it.

The Night Of. HBO miniseries from last year. 10/10. Absolutely enthralling. A masterpiece. I'd put it up there with True Detective S1. Very different subject matter, although it is also about a murder investigation of a young woman. Only 8 episodes.

The Night Of was good, but also felt like a really long episode of Law & Order. Glad you enjoyed it though.

What's the consensus here on Bloodline? Or if there's no consensus, what are your thoughts on it? It was recommended to me, but I've found the first two episodes to be quite plodding.
