I like it. It's not incredibly flashy but it's solid. Too many times, a team tries so hard to have a 'cool' logo and results in something super tacky.

Yeah, you know what, normally I hate wordmarks, but in lesser known leagues like the AHL you almost have to have them.
As far as wordmarks go it's not bad. Not great either.

Jerseys.... BC Flag on one side, otherwise very similar to the Flames. Why does it say 08 when they start in 09? I don't know.

Well it looks exactly like it.
 
I think it looks terrible. I think all these wordmark jerseys just go to show how uncreative someone is, or that an organization doesn't care. Although how do you picture "heat"?

The Omaha Ak-sar-ben logo was fantastic. The knight's hair in the proper flame shape was excellent logoing.
Since the team is in Abottsford, I would have used a modernized version of this.
