Mbappe did some cardio, messi did some walking, PSG can sign mega stars but can never build a proper midfield.

Conte really hasn't been good for Spurs IMO, really feels like he's almost been daring them to fire him since he got there.

Not nearly as strong tactically as he was at Juve, Inter, or Chelsea IMO.

Professional, confident job by Bayern. Couple shaky moments but were the better team by a good distance over two legs

Always a joyous day when Sergio Ramos loses

Tbf Ramos was by far their best player, only one to show emotion.

Messi was great before the World Cup, peaked at the World Cup, and feels like he's taking a joy ride since.

Don't blame him either, nothing left to prove now.

Considering the amount of cash that guy has made? I'd be doing the most blatant and disrespectful victory lap of all time.

PSG has many issues but it can be broken down in a simple way. It is a club with no values who year after year invest into the wrong areas for team balance. They use Danilo as their main CDM while buying unproven players at this level for ridiculous amounts with no leader in the middle of the pitch. A team with a front line that does not press well needs a very active midfield. Basically their pro scouting has been terrible, which is crazy considering how much money they spend. Compare that to a real madrid and Bayern and it is night and day.

They other main reason why I believe their project is doomed is because of quality of opponents. They are not tested week in and week out, the style in the french league does not prepare them for the toughest competition in the sport. While Messi, Mbappe, and Neymar (when healthy) can up their level, the rest of the team cannot. The amount of misplaced passes and poor touches in todays game was absurd for a team with their payroll. Completely laughable performance. Mbappe makes two times as much Neymar, at $110 million and he was doing cardio in both legs of the tie. He deserves criticism that he has not gotten given he helped win France a world cup. $110 Mill to get pocketed in two legs is a very bad look. His club career is going the same way as Neymars went after arriving barring the injuries. Scores buckets of goals in the french league but no one cares or will remember their hat-tricks vs teams like Rennes.

This is a team where players go to fill their pockets but watch their club career die or go to waste. Their player development is stagnant and has wasted potential after potential. I couldn’t imagine a worse team to go to for a young up and coming player except if said player just wants to get paid. I am so happy Thiago Silva got out of that mess and got a CL win. Wasted so much of his prime going unnoticed.

It is because players develop bad habits playing vs teams who cannot punish the bad habits. PSG seems to have a howler mistake every year.

Never once did I claim to be a barca fan, I am glad you remembered me tho! I’m pretty sure I clarified I am half Brazilian but it was years ago.

It is refreshing when athletes give real answers, Richarlison is one of the few who does. He is a good dude, I believe him when he said that Conte told him he was gonna start then benches him before the game. John Tortorella mind games, Conte is a clown.

Pogba finally available for Juve.
And he's dropped from tonight's squad for disciplinary reasons. Late for training.
Looking forward to an in game instagram post.

De Gea is simply atrocious with the ball. Sure, he's had a number of outstanding saves this season, but is that worth dealing with the terrible distribution and giveaways? I say no.

Europa League is sometimes more fun that Champions League because it's always new clubs and guys trying to prove themselves.

The CL knockout rounds are almost always the usual suspects.

I dont know, the last performance of his I saw was pretty amazing.

Although...someone should probably tell him that he's not playing 'Dodge Ball.'

Yeah he's been awful with the ball today. Betis is recognizing it with their press, try to force Dave to hit long balls, with high probability of loss of possession.
