Best part is, it's not even farmland, that area is a wasteland. Not even crops will grow there. Hell, the massive number of wells in that area and the supporting equipment take up way more than the solar field.

Actually, they are mutually beneficial. Obviously without energy storage, gas will still be needed in the evenings since we don't have the ability for hydro. Just more pandering to her O&G base BS.

Now, nuclear instead of gas? Sure, lets check that out as well.

And her comment on the Brooks panels being useless and taking up good farm land. LOL are you kidding me?

It isn't even like natural gas is in trouble. Canadians will natural gas to heat their homes. I don't get the O&G are the under dog narrative.

In 2019, Alberta consumed 76.1 Terawatt hours of electricity. In 2020, the province consumed the equivalent of 684 Terawatt hours. This is all narrative framing for her base and nothing more

Have any of the polls given a breakdown of Edmonton, Calgary, and the rest of Alberta?

Online polls are notoriously unrelieable

As Dave Cournoyer (one of Alberta's best political analysts) says, there's only two polls that count - the actual election and Janet French's election poll.

Is it blue? VOTE for it! The Alberta way.

Albertan's are the LEAST critical thought based voters in Canada. They would elect a sac of potatoes if it was running under the Conservative banner.

P.S. Looks like it's Ontario leading the way in GHG reductions to me.

Oh and while we're at it, more evidence of regulatory capture (@ AER) in action:

I was in the hotel in Ft Mac when it struck. I thought I left the hotel fan on.

"So I can call them and direct them and reach in and actually make some changes."

Yes, Danielle Smith, known for her brilliant healthcare takes such as "Stage 4 cancer is your fault" is now directly guiding AHS. How can anyone possibly consider this person to lead us for 4 more years? Serious question, are you people insane?

That is unbelievable.

She doesn't agree with the CMOH ("I didn't like the advice I was been given"), so fires her, and then inserts a pawn of her choosing so that she can personally guide her political ideology into how she thinks HC in Alberta show work?

If you people who are voting this election aren't paying attention, this is what authoritarianism and corruption look like. Plain as day.

Well... Yeah. "Trudeau liberal interference by China", as you so eloquently put it, is in fact also a bad thing. More than one thing can be bad at once, news at 11.
