Didnt lose the game...lost the shootout.

So some success but ultimately a bit of a fail.

I thought Gaudreau and Ferland were fine, Monahan struggled tonight. He had 2 big face-off losses in overtime. Just didn't seem to have it.

Not sure about the decision to let Jankowski go in the shootout.

Overall, I thought the Flames rolled their top 3 lines pretty well tonight. It's nice having some options out there.

The Jets skated hard and put in a lot more consistent effort this game despite coming off their break as well. The interference call was bs but so tired of excuses - referees, shootout, the break. Give the whining a break. The Flames were outplayed and stole a point because of Smith. Ferland was a beast out there too. Other than that, not a very good effort.

power play looking "crisp" as before the break.

I wish we got goaltender interference calls like that.

That review was garbage.

I'll be the first to admit I am a homer but it feels like the flames are always on the short end of nhl officiating.

I mean, did you see the faces of the guys after they took that spill behind the net?

Super disjointed game. Why do we need a break shortly before a break.

Ugh, just like parents on chinpokomon, Edmonton has the same effect on ...everything.

Lost one point, back to the ledge...

The shootout is such a terrible way to decide a hockey game when you could do 10 minutes of 3 on 3 and virtually remove it from the game.

That goal could have gone either way. Wasn't a super exciting game. Time to punish the canucks at home tomorrow. Flames young guns look good.

Jankowski was rewarded for consistent effort and having his head in the game. Johnny justifiably lost his spot. Don't know how you could say he looked fine. He was a downright liability at times even in 3 on 3. Hopefully he's himself again next game.

Monahan was one of the worst players on the ice, putting him in the shootout didn't help.

I thought it was a pretty entertaining game overall. I'd enjoy a Jets vs. Flames playoff series.

Should have probably had 2 points, but you take the point and move onto the next one. Flames get to sit in second for at least a few hours.

I got no problem in the shootout. This team needs to do a little work on their moves as they are way too predictable as most of them just come in and shoot.

I was thinking about this the other day....why not just 3 on 3 until someone scores? I can't image overtimes extending beyond 10-12 min.

Then cut back his ice time and don't put him in the shootout. It's not that hard.
