It'd be one thing if Liverpool battered United and De Gea just pulled his usual magic trick. Liverpool played like a team that was content with a draw for basically the entire match. Yes, the draw means avoid losing and the semantics of dropping to second, but this needed to be a win when the context of United's injuries are added. You can't expect to win the league if you're not willing to go for it. Klopp has been too conservative many times recently.

Bad day for advertising English football. Man United/Liverpool was terrible, the Cariboo Cup is terrible and probably heading to pens.

LOL wow Kepa just straight up refused to be subbed and Sarri is pissed. Incredible levels of disrespect to the manager.

Jorginho has had some nightmare of a season. Wonder how badly he wishes that Man City transfer went through.

The most hilarious thing is Cabellero is really good at penalties and as a former City player likely knows them well. Just insanely disrespectful from Kepa, he's benched for the rest of the year for sure.

Wow, that’s just amazing. I don’t know how you come back from that as a player or manager? Like Sarri must be gone, but you can’t cave to the players in that situation either? It’s beautiful to watch!

Former Liverpool boss Rodgers is in the Midlands after discussions on Monday night and a deal to replace the sacked Claude Puel is believed to be close.
Former boss Neil Lennon is set to take over at Celtic until the end of the season, with first-team coach John Kennedy expected to take charge for Wednesday's Scottish Premiership trip to Hearts.

What is Celtic's model? Is it to simply win the SPL and have a go in Europe?
There is talk of Arsenal following a Dortmund/Sevilla model of buying young talent cheapish and then, if necessary, selling at a healthy profit to be competitive yet self-sustaining. It seems this model would also suit Celtic. The SPL is never going to provide enough broadcast revenue to take them to then next level and their current piecemeal approach doesn't seem to be working.

Yeah, an amazing run by Salah, followed by a fantastic cross by TAA to Mane who has an awful first touch and then...the magic.

Fred sucks. He's like Anderson at his fattest.
Oh and Lukaku finally scored a goal again.
