With a healthy Kalkbrenner and Nembhard (Canadian) Creighton likely win that game. Should be a top 15 team going into next season.

T.J. Otzelberger took this Iowa State team from 2 wins last season to a Sweet 16 appearance this season, One hell of a job he’s done in Ames.

Also didn't see you mention anything about Juwan consoling Kennedy Chandler in the handshake line but I guess it didn't fit your "he's a bad guy" narrative. If you think he should have been fired....or suspended for the rest of the year for that slap on Greg Gard then Bobby Knight should be awaiting the death penalty.

Love it...best thing I saw was Michigan and Purdue moving on and Illinois, MSU, Wisconsin and Iowa (well not so much Iowa) getting the boot.

It would be incredible if Howard took this team to the Final Four!

5 straight Sweet Sixteens though...very impressive

If we're going to slag him for the punching incident then it's only fair to acknowledge this too. I saw the highlight, I am not a Michigan fan but Howards deserves credit for this.

Absolutely especially since most Michigan fans wrote them off in early Feb. (myself included) Houstan had all kinds of hype coming in and outside of a few games has been lackluster at best. They were the preseason #5 team in the country and havent shown it all year. The first half against Colorado St. was a disaster but Juwan coached em up at half and outside of a few minutes they've looked very strong. Honestly everything from now on is gravy! (basically everything after Colorado St. was gravy!) now lets get some revenge on Jay Wright from 2018!!

I never wrote off Howard (considering he got to the Elite 8 last year) but I did think the season would be poor by recent Michigan standards. I thought they'd make the Tournament, but by the skin of their teeth...

I was hyped by the pre-season ranking as well, but those were predicated on a Freshman class from Kentucky/Duke, not from Michigan regardless of ranking. Houstan has been hot and cold along with Diabate...and Jones took a while to find his role.

Nevertheless, very impressive achievement ... I like the Villanova matchup as they aren't going to out athlete Michigan...but they are a very good shooting team.

There was something off about them all tournament...could tell they just didn't have it. Even if they had gotten by Arkansas I bet they would've went down. Too bad
