Feel bad for the Titans but kind of saw that coming.
Of the 8 remaining teams they had at best the 7th best QB (only Jimmy G might be worse)
Especially in those close games if you don’t have the better QB it can be hard to win. In the last 4 minutes Tannehill couldn’t get into field goal range and threw a pick (even though it was tipped) and Burrow made the big play to Chase to get them into FG range.
That’s the difference.

I expect the Packers will grind this game out, but really uninspiring performance from them tonight. I was expecting an easy win and not needing Jimmy being terrible to help them win.

Tough spot for Shanahan, but you have to think hes at least considering a couple plays for Lance at this point... you really cant do much worse than Garp

But what does it say about Lance that Shanahan would rather roll with an injured and crappy Garoppolo instead of him? Shanahan is ridiculously conservative in general, but still after investing the draft capital into getting Lance you should surely give him a go. Even if you don't even want to pass he's got the running skill to threaten the Packers.

Jimmy looks worse than a rookie, and is hurt. Even if you want to run the Tebow offense you are probably moving the ball better.

An NFL coach that enjoys being employed is not benching his starter and putting his Division II rookie who has barely played this year into the game in the NFC Divisional round against the number one seed. It only happens if there’s an injury that makes it so Jimmy cannot play. Even Immortal Macorkle got smoked, rookie QBs don’t win in the playoffs.
Not saying it can’t happen but it would be bananas if it did.

Oh I absolutely don't expect it, Shanahan isn't the type. And I don't think Lance means they win, I just can't see it being any worse. And that throw on the screen there could easily be picked. It's just a bad Jimmy night.
