Or was he re-signed? Clarification needed.

Shockingly, it’s sort of both. He’s staying as leader and premier until the leadership vote. That vote isn’t set.

One of the ####tiest politicians I have ever had the displeasure of knowing. The only good thing about him was that I was living out of the province for most of his tenure and didn't get to experience how much of a ####ty human being he is. Today is a glorious day. Hopefully the door hits him on the way out and that's the last we hear of his horrid name.

I guess the real question is which UCP supporting Company's Board of Directors he will sit on after he's no longer in the legislature.

We would need a list of companies based out of Ottawa.

My Twitter feed is full of people thanking Kenney for his service (which is fine) and commending the great job he’s done for Alberta (I don’t get it).

Most people would agree that his party did a fantastic job of gutting the labour code and giving massive tax breaks to companies who would profit from his gutting of the labour code. Do those count?

Not a fan, but at least he can admit that he doesn't have the support to lead and is starting the process to choose a new leader. Most politicians would never admit that.

I guess we will see if his actions follow through. Need to have some patience though.

A diseased sea urchin taking a squirty dump would get accolades if it wore a blue shirt in this province.

Well thats pretty pessimistic.

The existence of the Oilers alone proves this to be a false statement.

Did you watch yesterday’s broadcast? Wearing blue pants meant you belonged in the pantheon of eternal gods, according to the commentary.

Premier Jason Kenney said he will not run in the upcoming UCP leadership race

Quote:
During a radio show Saturday, Kenney took questions from the public and the host of the show where he was asked if planned to put his name forward once again.

“No, and if that was the case I would have stepped down as leader earlier this week,” Kenney said. “I’m focused on continuity and stability.”
Quote:
However, the premier said he was relieved seeing the vote, noting he has spent several decades in public life and would now have time to focus on things he had been putting off.

“I spent the better part of three years trying to get the free enterprise party united so we could ensure there wasn’t a vote split in the last election, had a lot of policy ambition that we’ve already achieved and so when I leave as premier, I will leave with my head held high,” said Kenney.
