Well, I did not expect Kodak (KODK) to go from 2.75 to 60 bucks in 2 days.

Pure guess here, but I'm going to take a wild stab in the dark, my guess is zero.
Closest would be Alphabet, they could pull off Blockchain if they wanted and they already have a medical research division, so drug manufacturering wouldn't be too much of a stretch.

Guaranteed Trump and his cronies benefitted from that Kodak deal. I'm sure people are paying attention and when he's gone I hope all this gets looked into.

TSE: AND - Andlauer Healthcare Group
I picked up a little of this new born stock in January for $20 and it's now just under $38. board reports are it could explode when a covid vaccine comes out as it's likely they would distribute at least 80% of it in Canada.

The SEC is investigating the stock surge for Kodak. It's hard to see why...I mean what sounds fishy about a ~$100m market cap company getting ~$765m in loans for Covid work when they were formerly a film/bitboin operation? And so what if it looks like there were a whole pile of people buying the day before the loans were announced and it took off like a rocket? That all sounds completely legit?

I read an article about the Kodak CEO getting a bunch of stock options a day or two before the $765M in loans. Nothing to see here, right?

The options are the least fishy part to me . If you are going to give a company 800m in grant money you want to ensure the CEO is sticking around with a proper options package based to performance
The day before buying is the obviously insider stuff

I’m not sure of your timeline of events or the link between a huge loan and having a quality ceo. I see the options as a bribe to the ceo to ignore insider trading. A film company became a pharmaceutical company via the loan. Regardless, like you said, there is a lot of fishy business going on with the deal.

Anybody want some entertainment, pull the ticker DGAZF today.
Delisted and put on OTC. Short squeezed all day. Shorts lost their house today, to the tune of 24k per share.
Longs at $400 won the lottery.
I had no position, but it was utter bananas.

I've had big jumps after delistings before (and other corporate actions like splits/reverse splits). I think some brokerages won't lend otc (or dark) stocks and pull borrow, which causes a short squeeze.

I think we're getting ready for a bit of a dump. There's not much volume behind it yet so maybe not. Weekends tend to right the ship but I'd be watching closely.

Since I wrote such a negative position on the cannabis sector, I thought I should mention, I actually took a position this morning. Over the weekend I looked at two canabis companies Planet 13 Holdings and Khiron Life Sciences and I think there is some more room for Planet 13 Holdings to grow.
They seem to have their expenses under control, and are growing at a steady pace. I think they will see profit sooner or later. Hopefully they continue the stead growth, and don't try to over expand too fast. I've noticed a lot of cannabis companies tend to get trigger happy on POs when they have a decent stock price and dilute the crap out of their shareholders. They have warrants outstanding that expire in 2021 and 2022 so if they need capital, they have a source other then POs; so I don't see another PO as likely.
I took a position in their 2022 warrants, as to me, the short term upside on this is higher then the 2021 warrants or the actual stock.
Since I mentioned them Khiron Life Sciences, eck... non-stop "positive" press releases for a company that isn't growing, blaming their Q1 issues on COVID-19 despite when there is clearly a growth issue. Oh, and their losses are 5x their revenue.

Just came to post that.
This is nuts.
Waiting for pullbacks to add to a position doesn't seem to be a thing anymore.

I am also absolutely perplexed about Tesla's stock. I thought it was insane at $1,000 and its pushing $2,000 quickly. I guess fundamentals don't matter anymore.

The market is insane.
TSLA’s 52 week low was $211 and is now pushing $2k. Everytime I have speculated I got burned. Others are going to get burned too, IMO. Or maybe I’m a sucker and should stop looking at fundamentals.
