I haven't thought about the Prodigy in years but I listened to them a lot when they were big. If you've only heard the hits it's worth listening to the rest of The Fat of the Land. There are some great songs on it.
Saw them when they came to Calgary back around 2000. Can't remember the name of the place, it was down on Mcleod Trail. Was a great show, very load, as to be expected.
I had given up hope of ever seeing them live as they've mostly just been headlining mega festivals in Europe. "Breathe" gets my vote as the most enduring and iconic EDM song of all time.
Sounds like it's another suicide, but no details yet.
The one group on my list of must see acts in my lifetime. Very sad I wont get to see them in entirety. The prodigy were one of the groups that shaped my musical tastes growing up in the 90s.
Facebook friend posted this [he has some amazing UK music stories, including Xmas shopping with Nirvana]:

so sad Keith from the Prodigy died from depression, i saw The Prodigy in the UK in early 90's. The tent was so packed i couldn't dance, so sneaked in behind the fence and climbed up on the flight boxes the PA comes in. After 5 mins the bouncers closed in and i was about to be thrown off my prize spot, so I let out a massive roar in a breakdown, Keith looked over ,gave me a massive grin and the thumbs up, the bouncers backed off, and i danced up alongside Keith and the band, at the side of the stage for the rest of an amazing night !! RIP and safe travels mate
