As good as Chernobyl was, it was almost too frustrating to enjoy. It was just 5 hours of idiots making idiotic decisions no matter how loud the intellectuals yelled and tried to warn them using evidence and facts.

It was like an allegory for American politics.

I watched the first episode of Stumptown last night and enjoyed it.

Watching Carnival Row with Orlando Bloom. Great fantasy based series.

When They See Us on Netflix

Holy cripes, that is how you make a docu-series. My wife and I were fixed to the screen the whole time.

I cannot believe the injustice of the American legal system back in the 80s.

Absolutely riveting and compelling to watch.

The Politician has mixed reviews but I thought it was fantastic. Perfectly over-the-top in its ridiculousness. 'The Voter' episode was just great.

The rookie season 2 is on tonight. The first season was very good.

This was a thoughtful documentary for me. I hear the term white privilege, and while I certainly understand it exists, I always kind of think of it as exaggerated and sometimes an excuse for bad behaviour. Then I watch that and think of my 16 year old nephew, being threatened, and coerced into a confession and sitting in jail for a decade or longer and it makes me almost sick. The only thing standing between him and them is he is white and middle class. Very sobering and sad.

Watched the QB1 series over the last week or so. While I'm not involved in football other than being a fan, I found it fascinating as an Atom level hockey coach to see just how intense and huge high school football is in the States. I thought it was awesome and hope they keep doing it every season.

One of my favorite football shows right now along with the gong show that is Last Chance U.

The coaches have a really tough challenge with these QB's because they are the top ranked QB's in the country and are guaranteed a scholarship to a huge school. Because of that they have a special type of Ego. We saw this year that one of the QB's basically told his coach to go F himself and that he was calling the plays in the huddle.

I just finished The Wire, it was good.

I don't think it was best of all time good. I liked that it wasn't afraid to kill off characters.

I have been watching "On Becoming a God in Central Florida". While I like it, it seems like this is going to be a very slow burn. Also, none of the characters are remotely likeable, they just get more and more scoundrel-l as the show progresses.

^ I’ll second that. Pretty entertaining.

Wish I had waited so I could just binge it when it’s done.

How long did it take you?
I've been at it for about 5 years now. Another 8 or 10 years and I'll be caught right up I think.

I might just rewatch season 4 so I can go into a spiralling depression by the end.

Yeah it took us the summer, we stalled out a bit at the beginning of the last season.

I like to say the ending was worth it........................
