IMO the initial odds of the Astros being the biggest World Series favorite in years was a little extreme, and all the value existed on betting for the Nationals. Yeah as of now, it looks the Nationals' chariot turned into a pumpkin beginning Game 3 but still they have a hell of a pitcher going in Game 6. And if it goes to game 7, you really can't predict what will happen.

I will be wearing a Flames Jersey at the game tonight, club level seating behind the plate. I doubt there will be anyone else with one on, so I am solely representing the Flames at the World Series.. not that anyone knows who the Flames are here in SE Texas.. or what hockey is for that matter.. Go Stros!

Why not go with the Astros gear? This is the World Series after all! And red is the Nationals color.

We will be in the Crawford boxes so I’ll watch for you.

I was wondering if you were going. My guy is giving me a hard time about the hockey gear too. He’s a lifelong Astros fan (you probably are too eh?) and he’s bouncing off the walls, so I might bend for him 😉 I am a Jay’s fan so I am ambivalent, but being there when they win will be very cool!

Not lifelong Astros fan. I became one when I moved here almost 20 years ago and actually started going to a lot of games when they were really bad.

I had a brain lapse, we have game 7 tickets. So hopefully Astros win tonight, I get some $'s back and you get to experience nirvana.

I'm sure you'll have a blast. The stadium will be LOUD. Have a Shake Shack burger and a Karbach or two for me.

Yeah but the Nationals are stupid. They have to get runs in the first when Verlander is vulnerable and they sacrifice bunt

Haha. Verlander chirps Soto and then gives up a huge homer.

Verlander is the 2nd best pitcher of his generation(Kershaw). But man is he annoying. Hope he loses tonight.

What the hell was with that at bat from Altuve? Critical part of the game with runners on second and third, one out. He had everything in his favour and just hacked wildly at the first three pitches.

Neither of those 2 seem to be able to show up when it counts though! Soto's mocking Bregman was pretty awesome. Great game. Go Nats!

That was really bad. Game should at worst be tied right now.

Weird play. But I think the umps got it right. So crazy when everything is magnified during the Series.

That is a bad call, but wouldn't be a world series game without an Ump flexing his muscle I suppose.

Borderline at best!

Guy touched middle of the base how could it possibly be the right call?

Because he is inside the baseline. The runner is allotted the outside lane.

I hate it because #### the Astros. But the letter of the law says it’s allowed.

That's a horrible call. Astros rewarded for a bad throw.
