They do it right. All separate and boxed properly

I just want to give a shout out to Big Sky BBQ Pit just south of town on the way to Okotoks. Fantastic stuff with large portions.

I find this place to be very hit or miss. I have had some great chicken and sausage there but have been quite unimpressed with the brisket and burnt ends.

Very much this. Great space especially the outdoor seating. Just wish they had the food to match.

Which sucks because I am only about 10-15 mins away. Would be nice to have solid BBQ that close.

Also the cornbread is some of the worst I have ever had.

Considering the ranching culture around us, you'd think we'd have a more established BBQ scene in this city.

Agreed. It's been picking up over the past few years but our BBQ scene is nowhere near somewhere like Austin. (yes I realize that's not a fair comparison)

Vero Bistro in Kensington will stay closed in May and continue to offer curbside pick up.

Tavernatta has announced they are closing permanently. It was really the only place I was looking forward to going to when things opened back up. Total bummer.

Desert Pita and Grill on "International Ave" has camel meat. Like you can get a camel donair. I didnt get one. But they gave me a free baklava so I thought I should give them a shout out. I'd be a little interested to hear how it is if anyone tries it. I'm not afraid. Just not into meat that much.

I was craving tacos last night but all the usual places were closed. I’ve heard Tacos Mexico was good so I had some delivered. I ordered a variety and they were all great even though they weren’t super warm after the trek from Marlborough to the Beltline. I’ve never had cactus in a taco before but that was my favourite. I’ll probably try them again if I’m in the area.

I’m not sure how the food will travel but I want to support Kenny so I’ll probably order something.
Thanks again for this. I ordered again last weekend from Workshop and they were doing a pan Asian menu. It was excellent and tons of food for $95 again.

Looks like the menu is Asian again this week but different. We are doing Con Mi Taco a second time Friday, but was so tempted to get Workshop a third time. The value is outstanding!

The Workshop Central Mexican menu was amazeballs, and the dinner for 2 fed us for 3 days.

Love Big Sky!

Their chicken is the best, mmMmmMmmm!

Sometimes the odd dish is a little over cooked but I'd say their quality is still very good.
