iPhone 4/4s back - Local purchase

Mrs Rathji shattered the back out of her iPhone today and it is totally unusable.

I know you can order the part online and it is a trivial piece to replace, but she doesn't want to wait for shipping, so I need to find a local place to pick up the part.

I'm sure iPhix in Eau Claire probably has supply.

They have glass display boxes in their window brimmed to the top of iPhone and iPad parts from repairs.

Just called iPhix and they do sell them, $35 for a brushed metal back. That would be my preference.

Interestingly enough, my wife just called and said she wanted to take it to some guy in Queensland to do it that had fixed her sister's phone, so I think we might just do that. Assuming it is the same guy you are talking about Sliver.

hah yeah it must be him. Good little racket that guy has going on, but like I said we've been there a few times and have always been happy.

I think maybe I should have gone to iPhix for her, because when I got back home just now, she showed me this monstrosity...

I got the back of my 4S replaced at the Apple store for $30 after I dropped it and it shattered. Took all of 5 minutes
