In the US attendance for hockey doesn't pick up until around the new year when high school and college football wind down. When the season is all said and done Stockton will still draw marginally more than Adirondack did while having better facilities, less travel and being a direct flight from San Francisco to Calgary.

It is their "Hot Pink 2" weekend, happens the first weekend in November every year IIRC. The have the ice pink, auction of their beautiful pink themed jerseys, have raffles and donate ticket proceeds to St. Joseph’s Foundation – Breast Health Services. This is the 11th consecutive year that the Heat (and Thunder) have done this in Stockton.
I'm not a fan of the pink ice (thankfully it is just 2 games), but I absolutely love the jerseys.

Love that Pribyl is playing C - that will make him a better player when he gets to the NHL and plays RW. Hopefully he will be able to support Monahan defensively when he gets his chance on the top line.

Young team just lighting it up so far
very encouraging indeed, and 6 of the 10 are Flames draft picks, too. Not bad. Now imagine they hadn't wasted high picks on guys like Smith and Kanzig, things would look even better ...
very good early signs from the 2015 draft so far - Mangiapane and Andersson are producing at the next level and Kylington seems to have improved as well. That draft has the potential to be outstanding for the Flames, given that they got Hamilton from Boston and then made some smart picks too.

The way I see it is that they have some prospects that can produce, and some that bring other things.
We don't want 50 players of the same ilk.

We do want 50 players that have a legitimate shot at the NHL, unlike Smith / Kanzig. Guys like Lomberg, Hathaway, and Ollas-Mattsson and do bring other things though, that is true.

Way too early to conclude that
