He got hit on the foot, plain and simple. That's a penalty. Running into the kicker should've been the call but would've been a rekick regardless.

It tripped him. The body moved the only foot with weight on it. Anyone would go down on that. Kicker is pretty vulnerable there, and that's why it's a penalty.

Why in the hell were the Texans playing 3 deep prevent when they knew Brees was looking for 10 yards? Idiotic play calling on D. He wasn’t throwing deep even if they gave it to him with 6 seconds left.

Hell of a game.

Just terrible defense by the Texans. Of course the prevent defense on second to last play, but they shouldnt have touched Ginn on that last play and let 2 seconds run out so they couldn't call time out.
