Does anyone know if there are floodlights yet? Sunset is at 8:59, and civil twilight ends at 9:36. Probably enough light as the game should be wrapped up by 9:30. But it will definitely be getting a bit dim.
Add in a thunderstorm delay and/or penalties (not trying to be Nostradamus or anything), and it could actually be a significant issue.
Just one of my many random soccer thoughts this afternoon while I daydream at work.

Do you live in Edmonton? Or are just working there? Are you going back up there tonight? Either way, I won't complain about my commute from Tuscany!
Actually today I am leaving straight from work and heading south. I'd rather spend the time at Kildare's and Spruce Meadows than in my car.

I live there  . but not for too much longer hopefully. One of these live where you can find work situations. Normally I only go to weekend games for that reason. And yes, I figured that I would rather drive back tonight all pumped up from a big win.

Do we have confirmation that they aren't playing extra time this year in the event of a tie (i.e. 2-1 Cavalry win) and are going straight to penalties? I really doubt there would be enough light to play an extra half hour.

Its going to be tough to play a full game with the sunset 89 minutes after kickoff.
45 + 3 + 10 + 45 + 3 = 17 minutes after sunset. Seems risky without lights.
