I also remember him standing out in a game, but then I realized I was thinking of Darren Archibald in Penticton a couple years ago with the Canucks. He may seem like a good get, but he wasn't given a qualifying offer by the Coyotes to become a UFA. 770k would have been the qualifying offer. Guy is waiver fodder.

Paired with McDavid I can see him scoring 22 goals, signing a 2.15M x 2 extension next summer, and then being pushed down the lineup by the next 12 goal scorer they sign for near league minimum.

He scored 9 of his goals in the last half of the season and 6 of his assists. Out of his 12 goals he had 4 in two games.



He might be better then a lot of the other flotsam and crap in their bottom 6, but I doubt he's a different maker.
